Eduardo is the most helpful and honest plumber I have encountered. I've had many pipe leaks at our place and have found many companies charge ridiculous fees on top of the exorbitant amount for the repair. I recently had a leak and a company came out and left without detecting all the leaks. Not wanting to be taken twice by the same company (Always Plumbing), I called around and Eduardo took the time in his very busy schedule to talk to me and coached me on what needed to be done. Although he was not available to come out due to his schedule, I was equipped with knowledge of what needed to be done. I will be calling him first from now on. Thank you!

I think it is rather rude and a bit dishonest for people to not divulge their total fees upfront, an of course we should know to ask. But the normal person wouldn't know the questions to ask until they are burnt once like this, and then there still could be costs for walking up stairs or charge another service call if they need to go somewhere to use the bathroom and come back. THAT ISN'T A QUESTION I WOULD THINK TO ASK.
I called Eduardo yesterday at around lunch time to unclog the kitchen sink. We had a bad clogged a few years ago and the plumber had to come back 3 times to fully unclogged it, I wanted to try another plumber. Eduardo took my information and made an appointment to come the next day. He also mentioned he would try to fit me in at the end of the day. Since I called so late, I really didn't expect him to accommodate me on the same day. Then at 4:30, Eduardo texted and called me that he could actually come shortly after 5 pm! I am so glad that I can get the problem fixed a day early! Eduardo came, accessed the situation and confidently went to work. It took him a lot shorter to unclog the drain, and I hope it will stay open! He seems very experienced and knows exactly what to listen for and how to tackle the problem.
The difference between pipes and tubes is simply in the way it is sized. PVC pipe for plumbing applications and galvanized steel pipe for instance, are measured in IPS (iron pipe size). Copper tube, CPVC, PeX and other tubing is measured nominally, which is basically an average diameter. These sizing schemes allow for universal adaptation of transitional fittings. For instance, 1/2" PeX tubing is the same size as 1/2" copper tubing. 1/2" PVC on the other hand is not the same size as 1/2" tubing, and therefore requires either a threaded male or female adapter to connect them. When used in agricultural irrigation, the singular form "pipe" is often used as a plural.

The straight sections of plumbing systems are called "pipes" or "tubes". A pipe is typically formed via casting or welding, whereas a tube is made through extrusion. Pipe normally has thicker walls and may be threaded or welded, while tubing is thinner-walled and requires special joining techniques such as brazing, compression fitting, crimping, or for plastics, solvent welding. These joining techniques are discussed in more detail in the piping and plumbing fittings article.

Other pipe repair techniques include our Pipe Pull™ technique and pipe relining. The Pipe Pull™ technique interchanges damaged sewer or water lines with new piping by the use of a tiny hole at the front and back of the piping run. The broken sewer line guides the new piping into place. All new replacement pipes have a projected lifespan of one hundred years and are code compliant, chemical-resistant, root-resistant, and leak proof. Another effective technique is pipe relining. Pipe relining essentially gets rid of the need for broken pipe removal. By inserting a hardening lining material which coats the inside of the existing pipe, a new pipe is created inside the broken one.

Water systems of ancient times relied on gravity for the supply of water, using pipes or channels usually made of clay, lead, bamboo, wood, or stone. Hollowed wooden logs wrapped in steel banding were used for plumbing pipes, particularly water mains. Logs were used for water distribution in England close to 500 years ago. US cities began using hollowed logs in the late 1700s through the 1800s. Today, most plumbing supply pipe is made out of steel, copper, and plastic; most waste (also known as "soil") out of steel, copper, plastic, and cast iron.
