It’s a Gateway MT I would uninstall any software you installed, shut down, remove the wires just in casereboot with the driver CD in the tray. It would go into a loop at start up just as the windows XP with the scrolling lights and would jump to wjreless and restart. Many laptops have switches or buttons that kill the wireless card, does yours have one?
Is the wireless adapter enabled? Those are antenna wires as far as I know. My Cannon printer installed in a few minutes.
I’ve been going down the list at gateway looking for something that works now for three days and I can’t get any of them to work. It does NOT list any specific driver for topdog but there are so many listed that it may work for some of us. The laptop came with a Vista OS disk, the “recovery” partition is just all the added Gateway trial bloatware. Plus, I’m sure there are people who have been helped and not bothered to post like spilledcoffee.
A sample of a game called Warcraft played flawlessly. I’m usually a pretty quiet guy, but it’s nice to be appreciated once in a while. If Intel splash screen pops up dismiss it.
